I´m K'rK, an emerging artist from Germany. I lives and works in Hamburg and my works deal with strength and the relationship of strength to weakness. Another focus is on exploring the complexity of manifestations of strength.
My objective is clearly the mental stimulation of the viewer. With my works, I venture into the diversity of the effect and appearance of strength and weakness – depending on perspective, perception and information. By confronting the thematic complex of strength, viewers can be stimulated to engage with strength and recognise – and question – their own relationship to strength and weakness. A mind stimulated in this way can, through my abstract art, be encouraged to change perspectives and experience a sensitisation of the perception of strength
For my current works, I´m worldwide on search for motifs that represent strength in the most diverse ways. I forms silhouettes from photographs and transfers them with strong, solid colours onto large-format, textured canvases. By playing with the depth of detail of the silhouettes and reducing the representation to striking partial sections, a minimalist and abstract effect is created, of an actual, concrete object of strength.

My modern, minimalist art has a clearer aesthetic claim. My works may please and should inspire. Through the stimulating and aesthetic effect of my works, living spaces can become significantly more interesting, more valuable and thus altogether “stronger” themselves.
